Come On Mother Nature
2011 Provincials
Mother nature wouldn't co-operate, and day 1 of the 2011 provincials were rained out.
Day 2 will be a busy one. As all the round robin games will be squeezed into one day, and have all the games being 5 innings or 1.5 hours in length.
Dodgers were able to win there 1st 2 games, 5-2 against Calgary Rangers, and 11-6 against the Irma Royals.

Camrose Tourney
Dodgers split the winnings with GP after the final was called due to lightning delays.
Dodgers got to the final after losing there 1st 2 games in the round robin, but were able to beat Clear Prairie there last game to finish with a +3 rating whic was enough to get them to the playoffs were they were able to beat Camrose 4-2.

3 Tourneys In
So much for keeping up with the blog this summer.
Anyway, recap on the season thus far.
June 4-5, Dodgers won an Irma Tourney, beating the Irma Royals, and Irma Midgets on Saturday. And on Sunday beating Edgerton, Irma Lancers, and Irma MIdgets in the final.
June 11-12, Dodgers took silver in the Rollyview Tourney. Beating the Alexander Braves, and the Alberta Masters on Saturday. Sunday saw 3 tough matches, starting with wins over Clear Prairie, and Camrose, only to run out of gas and lose in extra innings to the Irma Royals in the final.
June 25-26, Dodgers won the Ducks Unlimited tourney in Melfort SK. Playing and beating Bulyea Rustlers, Delyle Diamond Dawgs twice in a row, and then a come from behind victory against Bruno in the final.
Will try and have better writes up from here on, as the Dodger will be in Camrose July long weekend, and then off to Grande Prairie for Alberta Senior B provincials on July 7-10.

Kick Off to 2011
May 14, the Dodgers will kick off the season with a double header in Calahoo, noon & five.

The Sport of Fitness
With the upcoming season,a few Dodgers have asked me for a hand programming some workouts to get them through another grueling season. If any other Dodger needs some help fire me an email. I wonder what Kenny would think about my "sport of fitness".
